Coaches tell you what you need to do to be successful, they won’t tell you what you want to hear. It’s easy to tell yourself “I will do that workout tomorrow; I am not feeling like it today”. A coach will not take that for an answer unless it is legitimate that you are sick or actually hurt. A coach will tell you, you need to do that workout because you agreed that in order to reach your goals you need to workout four days a week and you said you have time on Mon/Wed/Thur and Fri. This is being held accountable.

The other misconception is that you only need a coach if you do not know what you are doing. Even those who have the knowledge need someone to tell them how to implement it. Coaching isn’t always about education but about taking action on what matters. I hear all the time from people; “I know what I need to do with my eating, I just need to do it”. Ok great, the only problem is that if you have not gotten yourself to do it up until this point, the chances are you won’t do it going forward. I am guilty of this myself. I know that I am capable of running a faster 10km time, I also know what I need to do to do it, I have coached people to do it, but I haven’t implemented it for myself the last few years. Why? I have no one to hold me accountable. I have no one telling me to do this “one thing” today. Since I have many other things to do and I already workout enough this gets put to the side.

This is where a coach comes in. A coach will give you an action plan to follow in order to implement healthy eating and check in with you constantly to make sure you are sticking to the plan. Check out why you need a coach HERE from our friends over at Two-Brain coaching.

We know that you are busy with work and everything else going on. You are bombarded with fitness and nutrition advice daily, but you don’t know where to start with it all. A coach will determine your starting point based on your goals and create the quickest path to get you to where you want to be. A coach will also filter all that information for you so you do not have to make any decisions.
The best athletes in the world have coaches and have always had coaches, they did not reach success on their own.

If you need coaching to keep your fitness and/or nutrition on track we are currently offering online coaching (workouts that can be done at home at your leisure with the accountability of a coach) and online personal training.
