It happens to all of us. And it happens at the gym often. We set out goals initially, maybe at the beginning of the new year, and then we forget about them. You may still be going to the gym or working out consistently but not getting the results you were hoping for. This is often how people fall into a plateau with their health and fitness.
Along the way it is important to celebrate the small wins that you have accomplished as it is easy for many people to get discouraged because they may not have seen big results in a short period of time. There is a way to prevent this. At RAM we use goal review sessions. The purpose of these sessions is just like it sounds, to review your goals. We review your goals to remind you where you are going and to keep you excited and on target. During these sessions we review if what you have been doing is working. If it is, that’s great! Keep doing what you are doing! If it not, then now is the time to strategize and build a new plan.
